چکیده
In this paper I discuss Mark Steiner’s view of the contribution mathematics to physics and take up some questions it raises. particular, question discovery explore two aspects – a metaphysical aspect related epistemic aspect. The concerns formal structure physical world. Does world have mathematical or features constituents, what is nature these constituents? humans’ cognitive ability reach Among other things, interaction non-mathematical cognition in discovery.

Discovery and Reasoning in Mathematics
We discuss the automation of mathematical reasoning, surveying the abilities displayed by human mathematicians and the computational techniques available for automating these abilities. We argue the importance of the simultaneous study of these techniques, because problems inherent in one technique can often be solved if it is able to interact with others.
متن کاملThe Role of Mathematics on Human Structure
This book explores the mathematical view of selected body systems and organs and as claimed by its author, “it has an objective to facilitate modern treatment with mathematical precision.”The author, Dr. Adhikari has PhD in mathematics and is the Head of the Institution and Department of Mathematics, Ghusuri Uchcha Madhyamic Vidyalaya, West Bengal, India. The motivation of the author in writing...
متن کاملPhysical Mathematics and the Future
These are some thoughts meant to accompany one of the summary talks at Strings2014, Princeton, June 27, 2014. This is a snapshot of a personal and perhaps heterodox view of the relation of Physics and Mathematics, together with some guesses about some of the directions forward in the field of Physical Mathematics. At least, this is my view as of July 21, 2014.
متن کاملComputational Discovery in Pure Mathematics
We discuss what constitutes knowledge in pure mathematics and how new advances are made and communicated. We describe the impact of computer algebra systems, automated theorem provers, programs designed to generate examples, mathematical databases, and theory formation programs on the body of knowledge in pure mathematics. We discuss to what extent the output from certain programs can be consid...
متن کاملSome Comments on Physical Mathematics
These are some thoughts that accompany a talk delivered at the APS Savannah meeting, April 5, 2014. I have serious doubts about whether I deserve to be awarded the 2014 Heineman Prize. Nevertheless, I thank the APS and the selection committee for their recognition of the work I have been involved in, as well as the Heineman Foundation for its continued support of Mathematical Physics. Above all...
